Just under 40% of higher education degrees in standard period of study in 2012
This is 39.3% of all degrees. If two subsequent semesters are added to the standard period of study, the proportion of final examinations successfully passed is 77.0% (272,000 examinations).
The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that in 2012 a total of 365,800 higher education degrees were obtained by graduates of first-degree or second courses of studies or a consecutive master's course.
