Mobile learning, artificial intelligence and digital training formats in science and research

The trade fair will welcome visitors and exhibitors from over 80 countries, all with vastly differing experiences and thus underlining the international flair of the format.

Over three days, speakers will present their topics along with outstanding practical examples and the exhibitors will have direct contact with visiting professionals from the education, research and information technology sectors.

As a specialist for digital learning, training and further education and as an innovative IT company, time4you GmbH from Karlsruhe will be present at the OEB with two booths (F50 and C26) focussing on different topics.

Key subjects include application options based on the IBT^® SERVER technology and the use of mobile learning and artificial intelligence in e-learning. Renowned international scientific and research projects, in which time4you is involved, will also be presented.

International collaboration in clinical research

One of the projects which will be presented at the OEB is IMPACHS, which stands for “IMProving Availability and Cost-effectiveness of mental Health care for Schizophrenia through mHealth.”

In summer 2017, Monsenso App (Denmark), the Psychiatric Research Unit of Zealand (Denmark), the University of Hamburg and time4you GmbH (Karlsruhe) started their joint research and development project.

IMPACHS aims at implementing mobile application solutions to support psychotherapeutic treatment of schizophrenia based on clinical evidence.

To this end, elements from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) are selected and prepared as digital learning and information nuggets. time4you is responsible for the technical integration of the platform, develops digital learning content based on its mobile and content solution and links these with Monsenso’s mHealth solution.

Is AI the future of e-learning?

One thing is for certain, virtual assistants are on the rise. Jix, a solution from time4you, allows virtual assistants to be developed on short notice within your own organisation in order to support and assist employees at their “point of need”. Initial use cases and learning experiences from the application scenarios will be presented in Berlin for the first time.

IBT SERVER for digital learning and working

On all three days, visitors can also learn about recent developments with the IBT SERVER software. The new version of the software, IBT^® SERVER v22, is an example of a platform for digital learning and working which covers conventional formats and software solutions, such as learning management systems, seminar administration, talent management and skill management, as well as new approaches, including innovative content, interactive dashboards, social media tools and elements from the realm of artificial intelligence (AI).

The IBT^® SERVER also represents twenty years of application experience, process and technology expertise combined with recent findings in user experience design.
