Wasserstoff-Sensor
Process for determining hydrogen concentration of fluid media
comprises using a sensor comprising a supported hydrogen activated metal and a hydrogen storing support material as layer or compact molding provided with two connecting electrodes. The sensor is gassed with the medium for detection and the proton movement on the surface of the sensor is determined by an impedance measurement. An Independent claim is also included for the sensor used in the process. Advantages are that the sensor is gassed with the medium for detection and the proton movement on the surface of the sensor is determined by an impedance measurement, that it is highly selective compared with hydrogen and his isotopes, the selective measuring technology with demarcation potential in particular to other reducing gases beside hydrogen and that it raised across delicacy ( higher selectivity & sensitivity).
