More than 400,000 higher education graduates in 2012

The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the number of higher education graduates nearly doubled in comparison with the examination year 2002.

In that year, 208,606 graduates successfully finished their studies.

In the examination year 2012, 413,300 graduates obtained an academic degree at German institutions of higher education.
