We are facing a world without antibiotics – who takes responsibility?

The Swedish Research and Innovation funders invite you to a press briefing and breakfast at European Science Open Forum, ESOF 2012 in Dublin.

Antibiotic resistant bacteria are increasing and spreading at an alarming speed. The bacterial evolution is overwhelming our antibiotic defense. More and more bacteria are becoming resistant to antibiotics resulting in fatal consequences for millions of people.

We need common action and responsibility for the development of new effective antibiotics and to stop antibiotic misuse.

Welcome to a press briefing on antibiotic resistance and listen to the big challenges that our community is facing!

Date: Thursday July 12 at 7.45-8.45 a.m. Breakfast is served from 7.45 a.m.
Address: Wicklow Room 3, Convention Centre in Dublin.
