Selection of Antibody-Producing Cells

The innovation described below consists of a simple, universal selection process for cells that produce macromolecules of all kinds, such as proteins, nuclein acids and polysaccharides. The process is particularly interesting for the selection of antibody-producing cells. It can supersede all current screening procedures since it involves a single selection phase that allows only those cells that produce the required antibodies to grow.
