Monoclonal antibody: Anti-human / anti-porcine Complement protein

Scientists at the Georg-August-University produced different monoclonal antibodies directed against components of the complement system, especially against complement factors of the alternative pathway of actiavtion, e.g. factor B and Factor D. Factor B is cleaved by factor D into the Ba component and the Bb component. together with C3b forms the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb.
