Nanotube Substrates for Organotypic Tissue Culture in vitro

The aim of the invention is a long-time culture of primary mammalian organ tissue in vitro on newly developed nanotube array substrates. Especially for adult tissue the limited cultivation time of hours to a few days before the tissue structure gets destroyed and the cells die leads to various problems in the research of tissue properties.
