Fe-NHC-Kat stands for a completely new class of catalyst.
These iron catalysts are much more beneficial than conventional noble metal or nickel catalysts. They are nontoxic and less susceptible to external influences such as oxygen and water, for example. Die neuen Fe-Katalysatoren eignen sich für eine Vielzahl von chemischen Schlüsselreaktionen wie z.B. der symmetrischen oder asymmetrischen allylischen Substitution, C-C-, C-N- und C-O-Bindungsknüpfungen, Cyclisierungen, Kreuzkupplungen oder Metathese. Die Einsatzbereiche sind entsprechend vielfältig.
