Die entwickelte Vorrichtung zum Kühlen von rieselfähigen Schüttgütern in Lagerbehältern gewährleistet, dass entstehende Wärme im Kernbereich der Schüttung abgeführt wird, um die Gefahr der Selbsterwärmung oder Selbstentzündung zu mindern. Dafür sind Latentwärmespeichermodule vorgesehen, die eine große Wärmemenge aufnehmen können, ohne dass eine Temperaturerhöhung des Schüttgutes erfolgt. Das Verfahren wurde am Lehrstuhl für Sicherheitstechnik der

BTU Cottbus entwickelt und getestet.
