Releasable snowboard binding

Snowboarding is one of the most popular winter sports. There are more ankle injuries in snowboarding than in alpine skiing, especially injuries to the ligaments and bone structures in the ankle. The invention relates to a releasable snowboard binding which reduces the force peaks exerted on the athlete’s lower extremities.
