Reed-Solomon-Encoder
The American Advanced Television Systems Committee will release a new standard for mobile/handheld digital television (ATSC-M/H) which permits interleaving the code word and the parity bits, while older standards required that the parity bits where either before or after the code word. The invention describes a simple algorithm including hardware implementation to realise error correction according to the ATSC-M/H standard.
