Monoclonal antibodies: Anti-human Chemokine Receptor 5 (CCR5 / CD195); anti-CCR5-pSer 337 (PKC-site); mAb anti-CCR5-pSer349 (GRK

Scientists at the Georg-August-University produced a monoclonal antibody which recognises murine CD197, a 43kD member of the G coupled receptor family, which is commonly known as chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7). In mice, CD197 is expressed on most naive T cells, a subset of memory T cells, B cells, mature dendritic cells, NK cells and CD34+ macrophage progenitor cells. CD197 is a functional receptor for chemokines CCL19 and CCL21. The receptor plays an important role in regulating the trafficking and homing of lymphocytes and dendritic cells to secondary lymphoid organs. Clone 4B12 does not block the binding of the ligand to CD197.
