Glass Corrosion Sensor

The detection of glass corrosion takes place with the aid of sensor plates, which are assembled from glass segments with different corrosion sensibility. These glass segments are combined on the nanoscale with pH-indicators of different transition ranges. Due to the colour transition of the sensor, the extend of surface damage is indicated, which is a reference for the coatability of glass surfaces.
