Explosives detector implemented as a capacitor with metal oxide-filled nanotubes
This development allows for a capacitor consisting of metal-filled nanotubes to be produced. This has the particular advantage of making a very large capacitor plate surface area achievable. This also makes it possible to save many charges, thereby enabling a reduction of the capacitor?s size.
