New category of trialkylborate compounds
A new category of borate compounds enables syntheses, which are difficult to realize, like the synthesis of duroplast precursors, ceramics and metal amides.
In addition these new compounds can be used as alkali metal amides, but they have the advantage of higher reactivity and can be solubilised in organic solvents.
