Active substance fractions with high antiviral activity
Even though a number of well characterized substances and formulations with antiviral activity exist, there is still a need for new active substances. Substances known so far are either not always active or are not well tolerated. More and more virus strains get resistant. The inventive active substance fractions – isolated from roots of Rheum species – show considerable antiviral activity.
