Novel combi treatment to boost efficacy of antibody therapies
Antibody-mediated therapies have evolved as a mainstay of targeted anti-cancer therapy but also of auto-immune and other diseases. However, antibody drug resistance during treatment and thus poor performance are one of the major obstacles for efficient therapy. Scientists of the University of Göttingen have now developed a new treatment regime of a combined drug administration, improving the efficacy of the antibody response.
