„Advanced Battery Power“- Conference, Contributions are welcome!

The “Haus der Technik” (hdt) is once again prepared to organize and process a vast amount of both oral papers and posters for its forthcoming conference “Advanced Battery Power”, scheduled March 24th – 25th, 2020 in Münster, Germany.

This event is one of the most recognized conferences on battery research, development and usage in the mobility sector and energy production and distribution sectors.

The conference is co-chaired by distinguished scientists in the area, Professor Martin Winter (MEET – Münster Electrochemical Energy Technology, Institute of Physical Chemistry & Helmholtz Institute Münster (HIMS)) and Professor Dirk-Uwe Sauer (Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA), RWTH Aachen University, Helmholtz Institute Münster (HIMS)) and the programme is shaped by an international board of acknowledged leading scientists and engineers.

Keynote presentations will be given by renowned scientists, Dr. Khalil Amine, Jean-Marie Tarascon, Prof. Bernd Friedrich, Prof. Jens Tübke and Prof. Jeff Dahn will contribute to the success of the conference.

The program is distributed around key focus areas, material- and cell-technologies, with a strong focus on research relevant topics. Since Münster has received a combined federal and state grant for a cell-production research factory, we are expecting ample contributions on industrial cell-production.

Again we are striving for a tight interaction between researchers from academia and industry, and hence are organizing a dedicated “industry session” together with a vivid exhibition.

The poster session with its more than 150 contributions is a cornerstone of the conference and again the best contributions (content and presentation) will be highlighted during the evening event and presented with prices from 1000/750/500€.

Pre-seminars on the preceding day (March, 23rd. 2020) will round off the program with up-to-date topics in research and development.
