Membrane Filter – Separation and Purification of Gas Mixtures
The technology presents novel, concrete based membrane filters for the separation and purification of gas mixtures in the fast growing market for filtration. In particular, for the separation of common gas mixtures such as carbon monoxide/dioxide (CO/CO2) and hydrogen (H2). Apart from application in traditional industrial processes or a future hydrogen based energy market, the technology could be of great interest in the sector of bio-energy for purifying methane gas mixtures or gas mixtures that are produced by partial oxidation of biogas. The concentration of the desired gas can be increased via selective diffusion in membrane filter reactors.
