New Genetic Test for hair length in dogs
Hair length is an important morphological trait among most dog breeds. The breed standard often allows only one specific hair length. Scientists at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover developed a new and improved genetic test for hair length by advanced genetic profiling, now covering almost all valuable dog breeds.
