PhysioStim offers cardiac pharmacological model for compound assays

Testing to detect any possible risk of cardiac toxicity induced by pharmaceuticals is crucial during the preclinical R&D stage. PhysioStim has solid and reliable expertise in this highly specialised area, particularly with hERG assays – potassium channels that are essential in cardiac repolarisation problems.

However, in order to obtain a much more comprehensive and integrative approach to cardiac problems, PhysioStim’s experts also offer cardiac action potential recordings, which mimic in vitro the electrophysiological properties that are observable in vivo.
