6th European Bioplastics Conference
Numerous studies assessing the bioplastics market come to differing conclusions concerning the industry’s growth rate. However, one result is certain: The industry is growing, expanding fast with new companies emerging and product innovation. The leading business forum – the European Bioplastics Conference – will be setting new standards in presenting the latest industry developments.
The 6th European Bioplastics Conference is the place to be for getting a comprehensive overview over the latest innovations in material and application development – in Europe and beyond! “There is an ever-increasing demand for exchanging information and initiating cooperations. The European Bioplastics Conference has established itself as the leading business forum for the thriving bioplastics industry”, says Andy Sweetman, Chairman of European Bioplastics.
Experts and representatives expected at this year’s conference will again be presented with excellent networking platforms and an exciting product exhibition at the biggest event of its kind. “We aim to set a new attendance record with 400+ participants in 2011”, says Hasso von Pogrell, Managing Director of European Bioplastics. At last year’s conference, European Bioplastics welcomed over 360 participants from more than 170 companies around the world.
Preparations for the conference are shifting into high gear. The “Call for Papers” will be published soon. Registration for the 6th European Bioplastics Conference will be open as of April 2011.
European Bioplastics is the European association representing the interests of the industry along the complete bioplastics' value chain. Its members produce, refine and distribute bioplastics – plastics that are either biobased, compostable, or both.
