Green Talents wanted! Are you willing to take up the challenge of making the world more sustainable?

Selected as one of the 25 awardees you are invited to visit the hot spots of German sustainability research and establish a unique network with peers and experts. Deepen your relationships by returning to Germany for a funded three-month research stay at a facility of your choice in 2014. The deadline to submit an application is the 09 June 2013.

Time is running out, 09 June is nearing, and the opportunity to apply for the Green Talents Competition of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is closing soon. As a reminder: the “Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development” annually offers 25 outstanding young researchers an exclusive access to German R&D.

A high-calibre jury of German experts from academia and industry honours the winners for their original ideas and excellent research merits in the field of sustainable development. An interdisciplinary approach is favourable, which is why applicants from all disciplines contributing to sustainability research are welcome.

Selected as a “Green Talent”, the winners are invited to a two-week science forum in Germany, taking place in the fall of 2013. Here they will gain a deeper insight into state-of-the-art research conducted at some of the top locations in sustainable development and meet with experts from their respective fields in individual appointments. On top of that, the winners have the chance to establish long-lasting relationships with German partners and experience an inspiring new work environment when they return for a research stay of up to three months the year following the forum.

Detailed information and a link to the online application tool are available on the Green Talents website http://www.greentalents.de. Please submit your application by 09 June 2013. Incomplete or late submissions cannot be processed and will be disqualified. Watch the 2013 Video http://www.greentalents.de/498.php.
