Designed with a high IP66/67 degree of protection, they are particularly suitable for operation in harsh industrial environments. The 31 mm narrow enclosure in accordance with EN 50047 has two or three contacts and the 56 mm wide XL enclosure in accordance with EN 50041 has up to six contacts.
This makes a high number of switching variants possible. Both new types are available as a complete unit and as a modular system which the user can configure individually, for instance, using a basic switch with M12 connector and an actuator head with plunger. A new feature is a compact plunger with high-grade steel plunger without overtravel for all metal enclosures.
A new protective cap made of rubber and suitable for all EN 50047 actuator heads additionally prevents coarse dirt from entering the actuator head interface.
