Laser use for neurosurgery and biofabrication – LaserForum 2016 focuses on medical technology

LaserForum is the annual German meeting point for laser experts IVAM

This year, the annual German meeting point for experts will focus on the use of lasers in medical research, in the field of neurosurgery, biomedical engineering and implant research.

A keynote presentation of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT deals with the question whether the production of artificial organs by additive laser manufacturing will be fiction or reality.

The event is aimed at developers, manufacturers and users of laser technology. The LaserForum is organized by IVAM Microtechnology Network in cooperation with renowned partners:

Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. and the Chair of Applied Laser Technologies (LAT) of Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB).
