Environnement SA Secures Major Air Quality Contract in Poland

ENVIRONNEMENT SA, which specialises in instrumentation for the environment sector, has just secured its largest ever contract, which entails providing a turnkey air-quality monitoring network for Poland. The French specialist company is due to install 31 monitoring stations across the country as part of the deal.

ENVIRONNEMENT SA will be participating in the POLLUTEC trade fair in November in Vienna (Austria). ENVIRONNEMENT SA manufactures automated equipment and systems for continuous pollutants monitoring; these systems and technologies support monitoring operations applying to air quality, industrial emissions, and water purity. Since it was founded, the company has developed cutting-edge solutions (stationary and mobile monitoring stations, as well as multi-station networks) in order to meet the evolving needs of its customers in a field where environmental quality regulations are constantly changing.

Precisely, the latest and largest contract ever secured by ENVIRONNEMENT SA concerns a turnkey air-quality monitoring network for Poland that is specifically designed to meet European requirements. The contract includes the installation of 31 multi-parameter monitoring stations across the country, which will be equipped with latest-generation ‘2M’ analyzers (SO2, NO, NO2, NOx, CO, O3, and particles), together with three air-quality monitoring laboratory trailers.

The turnkey system will include a total of 126 gas and particle analyzers from the 2M line, 54 calibrating systems, 193 meteorological sensors, 66 data-acquisition systems, and eight central processing and analysis systems. The data from each of the eight systems will be transmitted remotely to information processing centres.

The new 2M line of air-quality analyzers is the outcome of 25 years’ experience at ENVIRONNEMENT SA and features unique, advanced metrology using the latest integrated digital technology.
