Roller agglomeration system with integrated drainage
This invention provides a process and a device for the agglomeration of sludges with simultaneous drainage. Both agglomerate formation (pellets) and drainage take place at the same time in a process step between at least two belt systems or plates that move in opposite directions and are permeable to fluids.
The combination of the two processes reduces the number of process steps in comparison to conventional methods, which leads to an increase in efficiency for the entire process.
