Siemens to showcase automotive test portfolio at the Automotive Testing Expo 2012

Under the theme „Automotive Test Technology – innovative, efficient, reliable,“ at Europe‘s leading event Siemens is presenting its testing technology and solutions dedicated to the quality, safety, reliability and durability of vehicles.

The testing products and solutions featured at the Siemens booth 1416 will include for example test bed solutions for IC (internal combustion) engines as well as electric and hybrid drives engineered for high performance applications.

Siemens will exhibit at this year‘s trade show a state of the art powerpack test bed solution being characterized by robust design of the mechanical components and flexible support for different specimen as well as effective automation and simulation system.

The Sidis automated test benches for vehicle testing and the checkout system Sidis Pro for electronic testing will also be shown.

For the first time Siemens showcases new products with implemented functionalities of DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol) and OTX (Open Test sequence eXchange Format) which enhance the comprehensive Siemens portfolio in regards of the digital manufacturing process.
