Organic/Inorganic Hybrid EL Material

Organic Electro-Luminescence (EL) materials have attracted much attention because they are more flexible, lighter and more adjustable than inorganic EL materials. That is why organic EL materials are foreseen to be applied in flat panel displays. However, organic EL materials are susceptible to oxidation as well as to humidity. The purpose of this invention is to offer more environmentally durable Pi conjugation polymer compounds. It can be used for flat panel displays as well as a source for converting white light (i.e. through a solar panel) to electric power.
