Medical technology suppliers present themselves in October in Shanghai

International companies present medical device technology at CMEF fair.

The China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) is regarded as the leading medical equipment trade fair in the Asia-Pacific region. After a successful premiere in spring 2019, the IVAM Microtechnology Network will again present a joint booth for international high-tech suppliers at the fair in Shanghai.

CMEF 2020 has been postponed from April to October 19-22, making it one of the first major international medical technology platforms that will take place again under strict security conditions. This year, international high-tech companies that have representatives and partners on site use the opportunity to increase their presence in the Chinese medical technology market.

FISBA AG develops customized micro cameras with outstanding performance for minimally invasive surgery and diagnostics. The cameras can come with or without integrated illumination. The company also offers high-performance singlets or compound elements. FISBA microlenses are available in various glass types and shapes (plano-convex, plano-concave and biconvex). Physik Instrumente (PI) is a leading provider of motion and positioning systems as well as piezoceramic actuators and sensor components. In microscopy, the PILine XY-positioning stages with piezo linear drives form the basis of the offer, added by ultra-fine positioning tables with resolutions in the nn-range as well as suitable sample holders. For medical technology, the subsidiary PI Ceramic develops components for applications such as surgical power ultrasound, vaporizers and implantable subassemblies.
