Procedures for the production of carotenoids
Carotenoids are very common pigments in nature. They are commercially used due to their own color and antioxidant properties. A technology is offered which uses microalgae for the production of carotenoids obtaining high yields. The major fraction is accumulated in the free non-esterified form.
