fibre-reinforced method for rapid-prototyping

Generative manufacturing of a component, in combination with specific directional, three-dimensional fiber structure: The component strength is locally influenced by the addition of fibers. In particular, the local orientation of the fibers allows optimal design even for lightweight construction. The invention can be applied in the areas of rapid prototyping, automotive, aerospace, medical and shipbuilding.
