Bottom-up method for fluorescence enhancement in single-molecule assays
The invention comprise a method to synergistically integrate bottom-up nano-technology with single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy to create a platform for a single-molecule lab-on-a-chip that enables paralleled investigation of enzyme reactions, binding- and drug-screening assays in confined volumes at biologically relevant concentrations. The method allows the paralleld placement of different molecules at precisley defined positions next to the optical antennas.
