Stack of flat membrane, especially for filtering Diesel exhaust fumes
In this new filter, which has been developed in a German university, the nanoparticles are evenly deposited. This is possible by using a finer basic material, recrystallised silicon carbide (RSiC) and by completely changing the way the filter is produced. This special way of producing is a combination of different shaping processes: tape slip casting, lamination, pleating and garnishing.
