Efficient Transgenesis in Farm Animals by Lentiviral Vectors

The introduction of foreign genes into early embryos is a powerful tool for developmental studies and for the production of transgenic animals.

With this invention it is possible to get one transgene pig or cow from 10 instead of 300 inoculated animals.
