ConverSic: Formed Parts from SiC
ConverSiC is a cost-effective process that transforms any
graphite part conserving original form and size into silicon carbide (SiC), an extremely stable non-oxide high-temperature ceramic. Customer-specific parts can easily be machined at low costs especially from soft graphite and subsequently converted into SiC using the ConverSiC process maintaining a high level of purity.
