Realization of in-plane polarized transitions in quantum-well intersubband devices
We offer a new type of semiconductor quantum-well inter-subband devices, which can be manufactured with standard GaAs deposition technology. The technology incorporates self-organized three-dimensional nanostructures in the planar barrier so that in-plane translational symmetry is broken.
