Production and purification of polymeric proteins
The production of high-value proteins with repetitive amino acid sequences is still not as efficient that it could easily be used to produce high quantities with the appropriate quality. A solution is provided which allows the production of native-sized polymeric proteins in transgenic plants or after transient expression by posttranslational trans-splicing.
