Mobile Measurement of the Fine Motor Skills

Several illnesses like Parkinson, Multiple Sclerosis or drug abuse lead to changes in the fine motor skills of the patients. The invention describes a simple device that can have the form of a pen and which allows the mobile measurement of the fine motor skills (speed, acceleration, pressure). The movement of the hand and changes of the fine motor skills due to the illness can be measured with a high accuracy. This allows e.g. to investigate the effectiveness of a medication or other therapeutic measures.
