Miniaturized High Pressure Generator
The invention describes a pressure generator for e.g. NMR-spectroscopy or high-pressure liquid chromatography which uses a magnetically driven piston to generate pressures in the range of several kbar. By controlling the current that generates the shielded magnetic field, random and well-defined pressure variations can be applied with changes of up to 100 bar/ms.
