Method and Device for displaying Information linked to selected image elements in a video sequence
The invention relates to a generic described method to link selected frames or images of displayed picture or Video elements, e.g. in a TV or internet video sequence, with additional information. Thereby, the content provider can associate further information, for example product information, webpages, ordering processes, to a sequence or specific image, e.g. advertisement, product placement or general information, displayed. The content user can actively choose to receive the associated further information by selecting the frame or image with a pointing device or curser. The aim of the invention is to simplify the interactive work.
