Measurement Method for the Field at a Superconducting Cavity under Operating Temperature
In the production of cavities the field distribution is measured in order to ensure quality
and efficiency. <br> The new technology is particularly developed for superconducting cavities and can be used in difference to the traditional operation under working temperature up to 4K. For this reason the calibration is carried out under realistic terms. The essential attribute is that the measuring takes place over the entire cavity. Field modifications during the cooling down are also observable.
