FoBt Sensor – Faseroptischer Betauungssensor erkennt feuchte Oberflächen
Anhaltende und nicht erkannte Feuchtigkeit führt zu
erheblichen Qualitätsverlusten von Produkten. Um die Qualität von Produkten zu sichern, braucht man im Zuge der Lebensdauerprüfung genaue Aussagen über deren Betauungsempfindlichkeit. Ein neuartiger Betauungssensor der Hochschule Niederrhein kombiniert die Detektion der Wasserkondensation an Oberflächen mit einer quantitativen Bestimmung des Betauungsgrades. Möglich wird das durch die Anwendung des faseroptischen Sensorprinzips. Zugeschnitten auf die Anforderungen aus der Praxis wurde am Institut für angewandte Nano- und optische Technologien der Hochschule Niederrhein ( iNano ), Krefeld, ein neuartiger Betauungssensor entwickelt. Hierbei findet ein hochempfindliches faseroptisches Sensorprinzip Anwendung, das die Detektion der Wasserkondensation an Oberflächen mit einer quantitativen Bestimmung des Betauungsgrades kombiniert.
