Fluorine-substituted Amphetamine Derivatives against Parkinson’s Disease
We present new fluorinated amphetamine derivatives, that exert their positive effect not only via the “classic”, well-known dopaminergic system but more pronounced in the serotonergic system: Our primary investigations revealed a significant role as agonists at the serotonin-5-HT(1A)-receptor combined with affinity at the serotonine transporter (SERT).
