Flexible fixture device
The innovation presented a fully automatable flexible fixture device for machining and assembly. This newly developed vise with exchangeable jaws allows for the economic adaption of the vise to different work piece geometries even in minimal production volume. The jaws can be exchanged by a handling robot and adapted to fit a work pieces shape through milling in the place of operation.
