BENCH INDEPENDENT TESTING OF MOTOR VEHICLES UNDER REAL LOAD CONDITION
Under the pressure of increasing awareness of
environmental problems and thus globally changing political attitudes, it is rather a matter of time than a principle that motor vehicles need to be tested under real conditions in regular time intervals. As a consequence, garages or institutions in charge of close to reality tests will be confronted with major investments for adequate test benches and equipment. The technical concept is principally based on the idea to stress the drive drain of the motor vehicle by its own brake system. Doing so in a controlled manner it is possible to simulate real drive conditions.

Superradiant atoms could push the boundaries of how precisely time can be measured
Superradiant atoms can help us measure time more precisely than ever. In a new study, researchers from the University of Copenhagen present a new method for measuring the time interval,…
Ion thermoelectric conversion devices for near room temperature
The electrode sheet of the thermoelectric device consists of ionic hydrogel, which is sandwiched between the electrodes to form, and the Prussian blue on the electrode undergoes a redox reaction…

New publication reports record electron temperatures for a small-scale, sheared-flow-stabilized Z-pinch fusion device. In the nine decades since humans first produced fusion reactions, only a few fusion technologies have demonstrated…
