Stable and secure access to Internet

The Basque company Contec, specialised in connectivity and security tasks in Internet accesses, has just presented a range of VPN e-Link solutions.

e-Link solutions provide several capacities of connectivity, security and interconnection between the head offices of one or more companies. These solutions guarantee the possibility to keep connected all head offices, representative offices or stores located in different geographical places of a company. That way, they can share all resources available in each of them.

At the present, four main factors hinder the implantation of Internet within companies: ignorance of the real scope of Internet, fear of opening the network to Internet (fear of external attacks, confidentiality, virus, etc.), lack of technological resources and qualified staff.

Contec offers an advanced corporative connectivity solution that provides access to Internet in a stable and secure way. e-Link Corporative (solution of corporative access to the network through an IP network allowing connections of high capacity), e-Link Secure (powerful firewall designed for the internal network of a company) and e-Link Private (extends the characteristics of the two previous services) are some of the products Contec has in the market.

All of them have been thoroughly tested by experts and have passed all controls done by external entities successfully, such as the department of telematic engineering (G.I.T.) of the school of industrial and telecommunication engineering of Bilbao (University of the Basque Country).
