4th International Symposium on Emerging and Industrial DLP®- Applications

There will be presented concepts for illumination systems with lamps, LED and Lasers, including challenges in optical system architecture as well as solutions in electronics and system integration.

Scientists from research institutes and experts from the industry present different applications examples with DLP® micro display technology in 3D metrology, spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging and medical applications. Further DLP® technology is addressed with special regard of their properties for implementation in UV systems such as lithography, material processing in rapid prototyping, in metrology systems for quality insurance and within optical network technology.

Other new application fields are now rapidly gaining traction, for example in augmented reality, head-up displays, holographic data storage, NIR projection systems, neuroscience imaging, or volumetric displays.

Supported by the sponsors Texas Instruments Inc. (DLP® Products), Visitech AS and In-Vision Digital Imaging GmbH, the symposium is the perfect place to gather background information on industrial DLP® microdisplay systems and to meet with the industry experts and solution providers. A comprehensive foyer exhibit with product and service presentations enables direct communication with experienced engineers from the field of DLP system solutions and beyond.

OpSys Project Consulting and the photonics network Optence e.V. are organizing the event to be held in Frankfurt/Main, Germany on November 12, 2009.

About OpSys Project Consulting
OpSys Project Consulting, Schöffengrund, Germany, (http://www.opsysconsult.com) offers products and solutions in the field of optical systems and modules. Supported by a virtual Engineering Network custom system solutions are developed, engineered and realized. As an official representative of Visitech AS of Norway, OpSys Project Consulting contributes implementing the DLP® microdisplay technology in industrial applications. For further information, please contact Alfred Jacobsen at +49-171-3617502 or e-mail to office@opsysconsult.com.
About Optence e.V. – Optics in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate
Optence (http://www.optence.de) brings together users of optical technologies and suppliers from industry and research. This creates efficient structures of communications and shortens the way from idea to product. For example, central issues are worked out in teams in order to generate innovation of applications or products and to realize these in regional cooperations. Application-related problems are discussed and a training concept for the future is developed. Optence offers more above that: services like aid program consulting, technical workshops and public relations in order to influence the image of optical technologies positively. Another important field for Optence is public communication to enhance the visibility and appearance of optical technologies. For further information, please contact André Noack at +49-6732-935122 or e-mail to noack@optence.de.
