BMT 2012 – Biomedical Technology Congress in Jena

Organizers are the German Society for Biomedical Engineering within VDE (DGBMT), the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, the Ilmenau University of Technology and the University of Applied Sciences Jena, supported by medways – the industry association for Medical Technology and Biotechnology.

The conference, conducted in German and English, will address medical experts, engineers and scientists and be accompanied by a trade exhibition as well as workshops, networking and recruiting events. Contributions from all fields of biomedical technology can be submitted by March 15, 2012.

Please submit your contributions (structured abstracts in English, max. 300 words) online under Papers at www.bmt2012.de by March 15, 2012. In addition, students participating in the DGBMT Student Competition 2012 can also submit the results of their final papers, with the exception of dissertations, as posters or presentations in German or English. The best conference papers will receive certificates and prizes.

The first place will be awarded 1,000 euros, the second place 600 euros and the third place 400 euros. Additional details on the competition are available at: www.bmt2012.de.

All accepted abstracts/papers will be published online as a free-access supplement to the regular annual issue of Biomedical Engineering (de Gruyter) and be prepared by de Gruyter for a listing in PubMed.
